Upon arrival and completing security procedures at Malé airport (Velana International), at the arrivals hall, a resort guide will meet you. They will help guide you to the appropriate spot for your onward transfer to Avani+ Fares and can assist with handling your luggage.

Your choice between a seaplane or domestic transfer will dictate the route of your onward journey:

Your resort guide will assist you and your belongings into a transport vehicle, heading to the seaplane terminal just a few minutes away. Upon arrival, check in and await your seaplane flight. In the meantime, take in close-up views of the seaplanes or opt for a lounge experience with refreshments at an additional cost.

Avani+ Fares uses Manta Air seaplanes for transfers to the resort. These seaplanes stand among the latest models in the Maldives and adhere to a predefined schedule, minimizing waiting times for guests.

While the seaplane journey itself lasts around 35 minutes, the overall transfer duration may be a bit longer if there are stops to drop off guests at other Baa atoll resorts.

Landing on the water near the island, seaplanes provide a unique arrival experience. After disembarking onto the floating seaplane platform in the lagoon, you'll proceed to a speedboat for a brief journey to reach the shores of Avani+ Fares. Resort staff will be there to assist guests and manage luggage.
