How to get to The Nautilus
There are multiple ways to reach to shores of the Nautilus. For your transfer, you have the option of ascending to the skies aboard either a shared standard seaplane, The Nautilus' own exclusive luxury seaplane or taking a domestic flight followed by a 25-minute yacht or speedboat ride.
Alternatively, for a more leisurely experience, indulge in a scenic cruise along the azure waters of the Indian Ocean aboard their luxury private yacht, Nautilus One.
Those travelling by private jet landing at Maafaru Airport in the Noonu Atoll can delight in a picturesque voyage across the waters of the Indian Ocean aboard Nautilus One or a speedboat.
The Nautilus Location
The Nautilus is located on the eastern tip of the Baa Atoll, A UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, 126km (or 80 miles) north-west of Malé.

Your Arrival at Malé Airport (MLE)
The Nautilus experience starts the moment your flight arrives. You'll be greeted upon disembarking and escorted by limousine to a private VIP lounge, where immigration and other formalities will be handled while you relax.
You have the choice to travel to The Nautilus by shared standard seaplane or The Nautilus private seaplane, or opt for a leisurely cruise aboard our luxury private yacht across the azure Indian Ocean.
Option 1 - Seaplane to The Nautilus

Your personal butler will greet you and help with your transfer. The newly opened Nautilus Lounge, situated on Level 3 of the seaplane terminal, is designed for your relaxation and preparation for your onward journey. Here you can enjoy refreshments, shower facilities, and Wi-Fi access while you wait for your seaplane flight.
Step aboard The Nautilus’ private seaplane, boasting an intimate 8-business-class-seat configuration, and ascend into the sky to witness the breath taking views of Baa’s turquoise waters, speckled with pristine white atolls. The journey typically takes around 30 minutes from Velana International Airport, allowing you to soak in the beauty of the Maldives from above.
Alternatively, for a more affordable option, you can choose to travel by a scheduled Manta Air seaplane with a 14-seat configuration, while still enjoying the stunning aerial views of the Maldivian archipelago.

Seaplanes touch down on the water a short distance from the island. Upon arrival, guests disembark onto the floating seaplane platform and are transferred to a luxurious dhoni for a short ride to their first steps on the white sands of The Nautilus. Resort staff are on hand to assist guests and handle luggage.
Option 2 - Domestic Transfer to The Nautilus

At the Domestic terminal at Male' Airport, guests have access to both a paid Airport Lounge and a standard waiting area before departure. The Airport Lounge offers a comfortable space where guests can relax and enjoy amenities such as refreshments, Wi-Fi, and comfortable seating. Payment for access can be made on the spot.
The closest airport to The Nautilus is located on the island of Dharavandhoo. Manta Air is the preferred domestic carrier, operating regular flights to Dharavandhoo using air-conditioned ATR72-600 turboprop aircraft. These planes are renowned for their low greenhouse gas emissions and exceptional fuel efficiency.
The flight to Dharavandhoo is short and direct, lasting approximately 20 minutes without any stops along the way. Upon arrival at the local airport island, guests will be greeted and escorted to a waiting speedboat for a picturesque 25-minute journey to The Nautilus. Enjoy the scenic views of the Maldivian waters as you approach your final destination.
Option 3 - Luxury Private Yacht Transfer to The Nautilus

The third option for reaching The Nautilus is by enjoying a private and leisurely transfer aboard their luxury yacht, Nautilus One. This exclusive journey offers guests a truly unforgettable experience, sailing through the azure waters of the Maldives.
Depending on weather conditions, the travel time is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes from Malé Airport, 25 minutes from Dharavandhoo Airport and 1 hour and 40 minutes from Maafaru Airport allowing guests to soak in the beauty of the ocean and enjoy the comforts of the yacht.
