It's essential to note that there are no boat-only transfers to Cora Cora Maldives due to the substantial distance from Malé (178km or 110 miles).

Your Arrival at Malé Airport (MLE)

Upon reaching Malé airport (Velana International) in the Maldives, following the completion of security procedures and exiting into the arrivals hall, a resort guide will extend a warm welcome holding a board displaying “Cora Cora Maldives”. They will provide assistance in directing you to the designated location for your subsequent transfer to Cora Cora Maldives and can also assist with your luggage.

The method of onward transfer will be determined by your preference between a seaplane or a domestic plane:

Option 1 - Seaplane to Cora Cora Maldives

Your resort guide will assist and accompany both you and your belongings to a vehicle bound for the nearby seaplane terminal. Upon reaching the terminal, you can complete the check-in process and await your seaplane flight. Cora Cora Maldives relies on the services of Maldivian Seaplanes for resort transfers. Maldivian Seaplanes operate 15-seat DHC-6 Twin Otter Aircraft and are a reputable airline with a dependable track record.

Upon boarding the seaplane, the expected duration of the flight is approximately 45 minutes. However, the overall transfer time could be slightly extended if the plane makes stops to drop off guests at other resorts during the journey.

Seaplanes touch down on the water near Cora Cora Maldives. Upon arrival, you'll disembark onto the floating seaplane platform and then transfer to a boat for a brief journey to reach the shores of Cora Cora Maldives. The resort staff will be readily available to assist guests and ensure the seamless handling of luggage.

Ifuru Island serves as the closest airport to Cora Cora Maldives. The recommended domestic carrier for this route is Maldivian, the leading domestic airline in the country. Maldivian operates semi regular flights using air-conditioned ATR-72 and ATR42 turboprop aircraft, as well as Dash 8-200 and Dash 8-300 aircraft, recognized for their sturdy design, advanced safety features, and reliable performance.

This non-stop flight typically lasts around 35 minutes. Upon arriving at the local airport island, you will then proceed to embark on a speedboat for a 20-minute journey to your final destination, Cora Cora Maldives.
