How to get to Coco Palm

There is only one way to reach Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu and that is by seaplane. The 30-minute seaplane journey from Malé International Airport provides guests with a spectacular introduction to their holiday - a panoramic view of the azure lagoons and meandering atolls.

It offers a glimpse of the natural beauty that accompanies your Maldives vacation. Upon landing, you step into one of the world's essential sanctuaries - a designated UNESCO biosphere reserve teeming with extraordinary marine life and vibrant reefs.

There are no boat-only transfers to Coco Palm due to the distance from Malé (118km or 73 miles).

Your Arrival at Malé Airport (MLE)

Upon arriving in the Maldives at Malé airport (Velana International) and clearing security to enter the arrivals hall, a dedicated resort guide will be there to meet you holding a wooden sign with the resorts name. They will assist in guiding you to your onward transfer point and can provide support with your luggage as needed.

Seaplane to Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu

Your resort guide will assist you and your belongings into a vehicle for transportation to the seaplane terminal, just a few minutes' drive away. Upon reaching the terminal, you will be able to check in and await your seaplane flight. Meanwhile, you can enjoy close-up views of the seaplanes, or for an extra charge of $25 per person, access the Trans Maldivian Airways lounge with refreshments.

Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu utilizes seaplanes from Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA) for transfers to the resort. TMA prides itself on possessing the Maldives' most extensive seaplane fleet and has built a dependable track record.

Upon boarding the seaplane, the flight is expected to take approximately 30 minutes; however, transfers may extend slightly if the plane is making stops to drop off guests at other resorts in the Baa Atoll along the way.

Seaplanes make a water landing just off Coco Palm. Upon arrival, you'll disembark onto the floating seaplane platform and then proceed to the island by speedboat. The resort staff will be on hand to assist guests and manage luggage throughout the process.
